Promotion and fusion are the two buzzwords of RomÆxhibit / Art and Exhibitions in Rome, a new system – and a new network – of museums and exhibition spaces embracing the city's numerous public and private cultural and exhibition venues for the very first time in Italy. On April 21, 2011 for the 2764th Birthday of Rome, the museums belonging to the Civic Museum Network are free of charge, with normal opening hours.

The Civic Museums Network joins the European Heritage Days on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26, September 2010.
Therefore, the admission to the Civic Museums Network is free, with the exception of Macro Testaccio and at the Planetarium.
Temporary exhibition fees apply to museums hosting major exhibitions. Free of charge admission is granted only to eligible persons, while people entitled to gratuity at the Capitoline Museums must purchase a Ridottissimo ticket of € 2.00.

The exhibition is dedicated to the great Japanese sculptor who creates pure shapes, reducing language to basics. The sculpture, set along an exhibition route that forms a small semi-circle between the Via Biberatica and the Grande Aula, seem to be living presences inviting visitors to contemplation and silence. The works of art have been created by the artist in Carrara marble, bronze and black granite.

Alfredo Pirri ‘s work consists in the creation of a floor made of cracked mirrors, measuring over 400 square metres, which following ancient traces replaces the travertine surface originally delimitating the public area in Caesar’s Forum. The exhibition can be seen from Via dei Fori Imperiali.
