A booking service for groups is available for an additional booking fee of € 25,00 plus the museum’s admission ticket costs. Guided tours are not included in the booking fee.
Also available is a service of guided tours in several languages, with fee and upon booking, either for the museum and/or the exhibition.
By booking in advance you can skip the line at the ticket office by going directly to the ticket window.
Booking for individual visitors is available only when purchasing online tickets.
Just show your printed receipt at turnstiles of the Capitoline Museums and the Ara Pacis Museum; no need to go to the ticket office.
In all other museums show your printed receipt at the ticket office (without standing in line) and get your tickets.

Also available is a service of guided tours, workshops and meetings for teachers upon booking only.
Guided tours are free of charge only for the schools of Rome and Province of Rome, and subject to availability.
Guided tours cost € 70,00 per school group.
Educational workshops are free of charge only for the schools of Rome and Province of Rome, and subject to availability.
Educational workshops cost € 140,00.
School groups must show a school headed paper containing the list of pupils/students and accompanying teachers/professors (one teacher/professor comes free for every 10 pupils/students)
At Capitoline Museums school groups are welcome but must be chaperoned by a minimum of one teacher per 30 students.
Teachers and Pros:
Musei in Comune has joined the project " Educare alle mostre educare alla città" dedicated to teachers with meetings and visits conducted by directors and curators of museums, experts and academics.
Guided tours of the exhibitions, courses, teaching appointments, meetings and other activities on archeology, urban transformations, music, science, contemporary art: all of this is offered for free from October to May (the program is still under development), with afternoon appointments, a wide choice in which teachers will choose appropriately activities for their classes.
